Charting with an ex guy

This growing thing about gender neutrality confuses me somewhat. I mean I know I'm still relatively young and possibly a bit naive but, biologically speaking, a man who has a sex change and becomes a woman is still a man. He's just a man with mutilated genitals and artificial hormones.
